Saturday, April 30, 2005. I wrapped my hank loops on either side of my chair arms and went to work making a ball. Well needless to say a few strays got in the way and whoops my HANK TANKED! My wonderful DH Chris is sitting behind me right now trying to untangle the mess. Knittin' Notes: June 2005

http://knittycath.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html

Monday, June 27, 2005. Isn't my first sweater wonderful? She has her sleeves now and is almost finished! I have over 300 stitches on these needles so it is taking me longer to knock out the yoke than I thought. I have run into a little prob though. It seems the stitches in the arm pits are sagging , hopefully that will correct itself when I do the 3 needle bind off. Here is a closer look fo the arms attatched. as you can see the holes for the armpits where the 3 needle bind off will take care of that!

A Little Bit of Knit. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. St Patricks's Day Synopsis (wordy). Ok, I'm not Irish, I don't celebrate, but I did wear green today. Does that count? At least I didn't get pinched. The bad first: We had a lot of water in our basement last week (pump failure) and it has not been fun! On to the good. Has been very inspiring ...

Monday, 14 July 2014. My name is Karen and I'm a Knit-a-holic! My name is Karen and I'm a knit-a-holic! I can think of nothing better than getting out needles and yarn, making a cuppa tea and getting stuck into this art form. Sadly I have done both my wrists in knitting too much! MY knitting is my own version of yoga. No "downward facing dog" for me, no sirree, give me a set of needles and a little yarn and I am a happy camper. I a little nuts where knitting is concerned. Sunday, July 3, 2011. I loved going to summer camp. That may sound odd coming from me, since I'm an admitted introvert and homebody. But I absolutely loved getting to leave home for a week or five or eight and being with people who got me. I've mentioned before that I was a weird kid. Camp was the one place where I could be a weird kid and nobody looked at me sideways because we were. Peace I ask of thee, O River. Peace, peace, peace. When I learn to live serenely.
