African Adventures: From Rugby to seafood
http://laura-africanadventures.blogspot.com/2007/11/from-rugby-to-seafood.html
Wednesday, November 07, 2007. From Rugby to seafood. Then Schalk Burger, Percy Montgomery and Jean de Villiers came up on to the stage and the crowd at breakfast (1000 people) got to put forward any questions to them. The event was MC'd by Nick Mallet. We thoroughly enjoyed it and got to shake hands with Schalk Burger and Nick Mallet afterwards. Needless to say my husband was thrilled to have met 3 of the Springboks. I took this photo from our table at the restaurant:. God is an amazing Creator:. Other e...

African Adventures: September 2007
http://laura-africanadventures.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 06, 2007. August certainly was a successful month in the competition department. I won 2 prizes and Brad got into the Top Billing auditions (as you'll have read in my previous blog entry). Earlier in the month, a group of 10 ladies from work attended a breakfast at the Table Bay Hotel at the V&A Waterfront. It was called the "Women of worth" breakfast. We were treated to a marvellous breakfast and a goodie bag (got to love those! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

African Adventures: Home sweet home
http://laura-africanadventures.blogspot.com/2008/06/home-sweet-home.html
Friday, June 13, 2008. Been a while since I wrote but much has happened. As of last Friday Brad and I officially own our own home. This is both exciting and scary. Exciting because it is essential that we purchased our own property and started paying our own bond off instead of someone elses. Let me tell you a little bit about our new place. After about 4 months of viewing various places and seeing approximately 20 flats (apartments) we came across a lovely place on the Internet. The great thing about mo...

And keep the blog going, even if it's just for me. Pity you can't make it ...

http://laura-africanadventures.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 17, 2007. 2007 Here we come! My first blog for 2007! I’ve been meaning to post something since 3rd Jan but as we can see that didn’t happen. Here it is at last. I have such great photos but I can't seem to upload them. It says they've been uploaded but when I check there's nothing there - I think it might have something to do with the server here at work. I'll have to make another plan. I had to start work on 3rd Jan which felt FAR too soon for my liking. I am however the newby at ...
