Tottie's Blooms: December 2013
http://tottiesblooms.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
I've been taking photos of flowers for a long time - so thought I'd post them here for all to see. Friday, 20 December 2013. I hadn't noticed it growing - in part because I usually park in another part of the car park where volunteers at the Caboolture Historical Village usually park their cars. However, the other day I saw a plant - clearly the seed had arrived by the wind or a bird, and the plant had grown to nearly five feet tall. The lovely flower on the top is below. Saturday, 14 December 2013.

Tottie's Blooms: Hollyhocks in China
http://tottiesblooms.blogspot.com/2014/05/hollyhocks-in-china.html
I've been taking photos of flowers for a long time - so thought I'd post them here for all to see. Sunday, 25 May 2014. Each country/culture has its own way of using flowers - and in China flowers are cultivated in pots often and then used in amazing displays. While these flowers were not in any spectacular display, they certainly painted an attractive picture near the main entrance of the university. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I love May each year as the Cattleya Orchids come into flower. In the three pots I have 10 stunning flowers. I love them. (I have had a pot of white ones flower in March too! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

I've been taking photos of flowers for a long time - so thought I'd post them here for all to see. Monday, 31 December 2012. Bamboo and Agapanthus at Adelaide Zoo. Is fantastic. I read somewhere that it is not just a zoo, but a garden where animals live. There are many bamboo plantings especially around the Giant Panda exhibit, and the rows of agapanthus. Tottie's Blooms: May 2012
http://tottiesblooms.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
I've been taking photos of flowers for a long time - so thought I'd post them here for all to see. Sunday, 27 May 2012. I love these, and I have had a continual display of them as I have quite a few potted orchids. Friday, 18 May 2012. These (and others) are a few of my favourite things. I think of Julie Andrews and the Sound of Music. When I say those words. But flowers are some of my favourite things. These are some of my favourite flowers, but as the name suggests, they last just a day. Day Lilies.

Tottie's Blooms: Some Flowers in the Village
http://tottiesblooms.blogspot.com/2015/06/some-flowers-in-village.html
I've been taking photos of flowers for a long time - so thought I'd post them here for all to see. Thursday, 4 June 2015. Some Flowers in the Village. One of my tasks as a Volunteer in the Historical Village. Is to take photos - and I often do a wander around the huge Village property with my camera focusing on the flowers. Here are some from a couple of days ago. I love the Gerberas. One of the Gerbera Gardens in the Village - almost opposite the Redhall Cafe and entry. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
