Consumerism, A global dialect. Friday, February 4, 2011. Allan Kaprow's Happenings and todays' Reinvention. I definitely agree- he seemed very focused on creating art that couldnt stay the same, which is quite different from the the traditional historical view of art (i.e. one enduring image that will last forever)! I think he was aiming to redefine how art functions in society, as well as what art is.a question no one seems to have successfully found an answer for yet, unfortunately. Boom sports. Bam.

Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The Failure of Fair Use and the future of Free Culture. Man Ray's photograph of Marcel Duchamp's. In general, the age of Web 2.0 provides more and more chances for people out there to take other people's stuff transforming those to their own work. While contemplating the ownership issues regarding to the phenomenon, we should really pay special attention to the aura, the idea, and the message of the work instead of blindly accusing others of copying. Friday, January 28, 2011. Is complicated. There is not one word that can really describe him as a person, or his work. The idea of Fluxus. Beuys has my respect as an artist, but I dislike his work. One piece I just could not wrap my head around is the "Dead Hare" piece. I did not see any point at all in this piece, and it was rather disgusting. Here is a picture. January 28, 2011 at 10:08 PM. The next thing on our agenda is to decide on how to incorporate music to the video and also play with the background, as in choice of color. Its brightness and contrast. Initially, we hadn't taught of a person that would best qualify to be our mentor for this project. We were looking for someone in his/her own small we has address the issue of globalized world and had affect a lot of people with his ideas. Our progress for...
