Walking in the Woods: An Ethno-Botanic and Bio-Geographic Workshop. May 10, 2011. A week ago Sunday I was happy to spend watching the earth wake up and learning about our local plants. The IDCE Fellows, a group of students from my former program at Clark, arranged for Dr. Douglas Frink from Worcester State to guide us on a nature walk at the Cascades Park. Looking for some traditional fiddle music to enliven your event? How about a music workshop? Currently in Maui I primarily play with the Glen Innes Session Band. A traditional Celtic band comprised of Peter Dela Croce on guitar and ukulele, Kieran Clark on vocals and guitar, Dubhan “Bud” Clark on bodhran and whistle, and myself on fiddle.
