Coronal waves as a source of coronal heating. Dynamics of coronal loops:formation and evolution. Temperaturediagnostics of the corona using line ratiotechiniques. Development, dynamics and origin of CMEs. Vital inputs to Space weather Prediction. Topology of magnetic fields. Important Properties of the Corona. Outer atmosphere of the sun is known as solar corona. Coronal intensities in the visible wavelength is million time fainter compared to the disk intensities. Density at the limb is about 10.

Uniqueness of the Payload | aditya.iiap.res.in
http://aditya.iiap.res.in/payload
Uniqueness of the Payload. Simultaneous emission line images in the green and red emission lines allowing for temperature diagnostics. Very High Cadence(3-images per second). Simultaneous Polarization images in the continuum and line allowing for density diagnostics, magnetic topology, and 3D structure of CMEs. Observations close to the limb(better than 1.1 Rsun). Highly polished primary mirror - Micro roughness of the order of 1Å; an order better than the current technology.
