Under the Coconut Tree: January 2010
http://cocokeo.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Under the Coconut Tree. Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Here's my funny Tinto conversation for the week - or for the hour I should say, as she spurts out the silliest most preposterous things on a minute basis. My dad is quite frail and needs help when standing up. This morning we were in the sitting room, and Cheeku was helping him up from his chair. He stumbled, and Tino called out ". You might be slipped! He might be slipped and then he might be DIED! Friday, January 15, 2010. What to do -. I had an intere...

(Seriously) Crazy in Siusega: August 2015
http://siusegacrazy.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Seriously) Crazy in Siusega. Crazy and confused. All the time, every time. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. I love people watching. It may possibly be one of my favorite pastimes, right up there next to 48 hour sleeps and self pity rants. Everyone is wearing some sort of closed shoes. Because it's winter obviously. I am the only dumbass wearing seevae kosokoso, because I'm staunch like that (and can't find closed shoes in my size 13). Straightened. Girl, you fat. No amount of foundation will hide that. So all I...

start. stop. rinse. repeat.: something about the rain...
http://brighousel.blogspot.com/2015/06/rainy-days.html
Start stop. rinse. repeat. Here we go again. Friday, June 5, 2015. Something about the rain. There's something comforting about the rain. It reminds me of my grandma’s old fale Samoa. When we were growing up. Of rain baths and running around outside. It reminds me of thunderstorms, overflowing the river behind our house, and everyone huddled up inside with our flashlights and candles during tropical cyclones. Something about the rain…. Fobilicious- tala mai se teine Samoa i Sydney: May 2014
http://sydneyfob.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Fobilicious- tala mai se teine Samoa i Sydney. The musings and meanderings of a Samoan stranded in Sydney. Saturday, 17 May 2014. When I was doing my bachelors degree. Nothing annoyed me more. Of those mature age students. You know the earnest kind. Or wanted to discuss. That seemed interested in the actual course. Like they may have done the actual readings. And wanted to actually discuss. Acting like they came here to learn. When the rest of us. Wake up in someone else’s bed drunk. But it’s ok. Who hav...

Fobilicious- tala mai se teine Samoa i Sydney: "I'll stand with you"
http://sydneyfob.blogspot.com/2012/08/ill-stand-with-you.html
Fobilicious- tala mai se teine Samoa i Sydney. The musings and meanderings of a Samoan stranded in Sydney. Thursday, 2 August 2012. I'll stand with you". Three Proud People- mural in Newtown. I didn't know about Peter Norman until Damien Hooper wore the Aboriginal flag on his t-shirt into the Olympic arena. Just before he kicked ass for Australia. Incredulous that the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) had chosen to censure him citing IOC rule 50 and the sanctity of the Olympic spirit, my mind. I didn't ...

Under the Coconut Tree: November 2010
http://cocokeo.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Under the Coconut Tree. Thursday, November 11, 2010. Getting ready for real school. Yesterday, RLSS held an orientation session for all children enrolled for Year 1. Tinto went with her Grandma. According to Grandma, Tinto said "Grandma, go sit down over there, I'll be fine." All the other kids in the orientation knew who she was (kids from her preschool) and half the kids in Year 1 were calling out "Tino! Can I have one? Can you put my name on it? Is it for rugby? Like the world cup? Dublin, Ireland 2015.

Musings from da Bush!: Savaii Living
http://samoangal.blogspot.com/2015/04/savaii-living.html
Musings from da Bush! Wednesday, April 01, 2015. I realise that a long time ago, my blogs had a different tone to them. At the beginning, they were a place for me to tell my stories. My happy my sad my remarkable. What did, what became, what happened and what was great about life. It was a place I could excercise writing (not that I think I am anywhere near being a 'good' writer- punctuation much? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Under the Coconut Tree: August 2010
http://cocokeo.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Under the Coconut Tree. Thursday, August 26, 2010. Dealing with parental pressure. I am so tired. Drained. Emotionally, maternally and more importantly, financially. Never have I been more anxious to get away - from work, my husband, kids, parents and bank account negative balance. A fellow blogger said she feels like Maria in the hills are alive, running carefree on the hills. That will be me in a few days. So.what I have been stressed MOST about. My dad has been wanting a new car. Specifically ". I'd b...

(Seriously) Crazy in Siusega: Farkbook, yes I'm still ranting
http://siusegacrazy.blogspot.com/2015/08/farkbook-yes-im-still-ranting.html
Seriously) Crazy in Siusega. Crazy and confused. All the time, every time. Saturday, 1 August 2015. Farkbook, yes I'm still ranting. Since I became a hermit, I've retreated further away from Fugbook. Here's how it goes. You put up a post and say "Feeling great, today is the best day ever! Which just begs people to ask, "What happened? And you pretend to ignore the questions until someone who does know what happened says "Congrats on your promotion sis! Clearly I have some issues. The solution is, log...
