Life with the not so newlyweds: Echo
http://jkkraucyk.blogspot.com/2015/05/echo.html
Monday, May 11, 2015. It's taken me a while to get to the point where I can write this post. I am sure I will still cry my way through it. On March 14, 2015, our sweet Echo passed away. In october, she had a toe amputated because it had cancer and had eaten away the bone. On March 6, 2015, we took her into the vet because she was having trouble breathing. Sadly, they found 4 cancer spots in her longs and 2 in her ribs. We were hoping to get a year with her. Instead we got a week and a half. Moms Need To ...

Life with the not so newlyweds: Wascally Wabbit Half Marathon 9/20/14
http://jkkraucyk.blogspot.com/2015/01/wascally-wabbit-half-marathon-92014.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Wascally Wabbit Half Marathon 9/20/14. For the past 4 years, my goal has always been to run a half marathon- 13.1 miles. Every year I've been overwhelmed by the thought of running that far. I decided that 2014 was the year to do it. No more excuses! This was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I still really enjoyed it. This was the first time that I had to actually train and race with gear. I learned to love warm water sloshing with every step and the taste of Guu.

Tuesday, October 29, 2013. We just came back from an amazing vacation in Hawaii (I will blog about it soon), while there we did a night swim in the ocean with Manta Rays. This video is of one of the manta rays eating the plankton in front of my face. This video is from the end of our time in the water. A second, larger manta ray showed up. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life with the not so newlyweds: 2014 Softball Champs
http://jkkraucyk.blogspot.com/2014/08/2014-softball-champs.html
Monday, August 25, 2014. It was a great year for softball. James pitched again this season. As always, he did a wonderful job. He worked his magic and was able to pitch a no-hitter. He was also able to hit a home run into the center field (sadly, home runs were outs this year). I had a great time watching him play and snuggling my friend's baby. Why were home runs outs? Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Cell phone pictures to round out 2014. Ok here's all my cell phone pictures for the majority of 2014. Earlier this year, one of our master bathroom faucets started to leak. I've hated these faucets from the day we bought the place, so instead of replacing the broken part, I decided to rip out both faucets and replace them with newer ones. In the coming year, I'll rip out the sinks and counter tops too. Our good friend's daughter had a loose tooth. James offered her $20 to p...

Thursday, May 9, 2013. We have been so busy with school and work. We don't get to spend very much time together anymore. We decided we needed to take advantage of our spring break and plan a getaway. We headed to San Francisco. We booked a nice hotel room right off of fisherman's wharf. (Most of these pictures were taken with my phone so the quality isn't the best.). The Bay Bridge looked amazing with its light show. James was excited about hanging off of the edge of one of the cars. Last fall, a group o...

Friday, July 25, 2014. Mudd 'n Blood Zombie Run 6/7/14. I've always wanted to do a zombie race. There's been a few of them here, but they've always been on Sundays (I don't do sports on sundays). Finally, there was one on a saturday! I got to do the race with my good friend, Rachel. I'm not going to lie, the zombies freaked me out. I'm not 100% sure I'll do a zombie race ever again. It wouldn't be a mud and blood race without mud. Or without rotten fruit. Gross! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). May 10 - May 17.
