The Young Family: December 2013
http://ransomandbrooke.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Ransom * Brooke * Jonah * Benjamin. Wednesday, December 11, 2013. I'm out of excuses. RANSOM: After studding like a maniac for 3 months, he passed the bar! And because I am his wife and love him ever so dearly, I will go ahead and brag that he not only passed, but excelled at the bar- scoring high enough to practice in any of the 9 uniform bar states! Ransom works early, like generally starts at 6am (which he loves! And I love it too because he is generally home by 3! Surely I do more than that, right?

Ransom * Brooke * Jonah * Benjamin. Saturday, March 30, 2013. I don't know what's going on around here but suddenly my baby boy is SIX months old! A few days ago we went for the 6 month check-up and here are the stats for our very big boy:. Weight: 19 lbs 4 oz (95th percentile). Height: 27 1/4" (92nd percentile). Head: 47 3/4 cm (99th percentile). In the past month, Ben has been teething. (two bottom teeth cut through and I can feel more on the way). This teething ring is my best friend right now! Lately...

The Young Family: August 2013
http://ransomandbrooke.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Ransom * Brooke * Jonah * Benjamin. Thursday, August 22, 2013. Where did I leave off? Oh yeah, Ben was like 7 months at my last update. Oops! Here's a little catch-up. When he does walk, he only wants one of my fingers which allows me to stand up straight again. My mom got Ben a Johnny Jump Up so he could be happy without being walked around all day. He LOVED it for the first day. But then he would get too excited and keep banging his head on the doorframe. After a few good bangs he was done&...We had a ...

The Young Family: August 2012
http://ransomandbrooke.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Ransom * Brooke * Jonah * Benjamin. Thursday, August 9, 2012. We had a wonderful ultrasound appointment last week. The Bean was so active- hiccuping, practice breathing, kicking- it was so fun to actually see. The movements I have been feeling for so long! In a very short amount of time! I really just cannot express the relief it brought. I think the best part of walking away from an ultrasound appointment are the picture souvenirs. But when I was handed my two photos, I had to do a double-take. ...Obvio...

The Young Family: Jonah's Video
http://ransomandbrooke.blogspot.com/2011/01/jonahs-video.html
Ransom * Brooke * Jonah * Benjamin. Friday, January 28, 2011. I've wanted a short video of Jonah's pictures and clips since he passed away but it's realllllly hard for me to be "creative". It's certainly not professional quality, but I'm glad to have a nice video to look at whenever I want. Enjoy :). Ransom and Brooke Young. January 28, 2011 at 7:10 PM. What a sweet video. Jonah is seriously so adorable. He makes the cutest faces, and I love reading your blog and seeing all his videos and pictures. What ...

Sunday, January 6, 2013. Since Elaina was absolutely obsessed with Christmas lights this year, we took every opportunity we had to go see them! We pretty much saw every house in town and the next town over, and she continued to yell "MO YITES peeez. Obligatory large sign picture. Kids choir singing christmas carols. The babe loved it. Love this laina lou! She and Houston stood in front of the window forever! Please excuse the wonky piggies. Love my taco truck loving hubs! I love nights like these! I love...

the harris happenings: Two months.
http://houstonandcristina.blogspot.com/2015/02/two-months.html
Wednesday, February 11, 2015. January 20, 2015. This little peanut is growing every day. She gave me her first real smile on Christmas day and rolled over for the first time the day after that. The roll over was a total accident and she hasn't done it since. But the smile was real! Her tummy stuff seems to be getting a little better but I also drastically changed my eating habits for the month of January so we shall see what happens when I'm done with Whole30! the harris happenings: July 2014
http://houstonandcristina.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. Almost two weeks ago we found out we are having another little girl! At the big 20 week ultrasound baby looked great, every thing measured normal which was a big relief to me. I wanted to do a little gender reveal for Elaina to try and make having a new sibling a little more exciting. She doesn't do too well with big changes so I'm trying to beef up the big sister/new baby thing big time! She told me, "OOH I love balloons! LOL Well good, it seems I chose correctly then! Ironically,...

the harris happenings: moving on up
http://houstonandcristina.blogspot.com/2014/09/moving-on-up.html
Tuesday, September 2, 2014. It's now the beginning of September and we've been in our new house for about a month. It was a whirlwind moving experience that's for sure. We closed on our new house July 29th and had renters moving into our old house on July 31st. We basically had 1 day to schedule carpet cleaners, deep clean both houses, move our furniture, and have appliances delivered. It was nuts! It's nice to have more space, a backyard, and more room to invite people over! The only room in the house t...

Spencer, Stephanie, Sofie, Luke and Rubi: Rubi 10/3/2012
http://spencerjohnsonfamily.blogspot.com/2013/11/rubi-1032012.html
Tuesday, November 12, 2013. 10/3/2012 SHE is finally here! Rubi Gwen Johnson was our little surprise. I always wanted to do a surprise where we don't find out the sex of the baby. When she came out the doctor was holding her like a can of soda and I could only see the back side of her but she had so much hair and her body was so petite I knew it had to be a girl. I was just sooo excited! She was 7 lbs even and 19 inches long. The night nurses couldn't resist putting a bow in all that thick brown hair.
