The Cape Grysbok, the Cape Grey Mongoose and caracul (rooikat) are animals to look out for in the coastal fynbos. An eland has been reported by a resident in the valley below Tolbosrand. In the Indian Ocean from the cliffs on the eastern boundary of the reserve one can at times see Cape Fur Seals and a variety of whales, dolphins and porpoises. The Southern Right Whales come to the bays to breed from August to November each year. Designed by Siempre Media.

The property registration is Full Title and transferable with 1/81th undivided share in the remainder of the 291 hectares, i.e. each owner automatically has a 1/81th ownership of LNR (Erf 1032). On transfer of erven, owners or their estate agents or new buyers are expected to request clearance figures from the Managing Agent, Martinique, so that there are no outstanding levies on transfer. Before transfer of erven, owners or their estate agents or new buyers are expected to request a Clearance Certificate.

This is a serene way of life; a mixture of country and small village living. The reserve is a gated community in that there is a main access gate and a fence surrounding the 291 hectare property. Plots are located in a central grid on the property with each erf separated from the other by a conservancy area of fynbos. You have the sense of belonging to a community but also being private. Panoramic sea views, as well as lake and mountain views. Tranquillity minimum noise apart from wind when it is blowing.

The Reserve offers some interesting trails for either hiking or by mountain bike. Local residents can be seen almost daily enjoying the quality of life that such activities present in a peaceful environment. Each year the Zoetendal Academy, an independent school at the southernmost tip of Africa, organises a mountain bike event which goes through the Reserve as well as the neighbouring Agulhas National Park.
