Euphoria: April 2011
http://amy-baskin.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
From the highest of heights to the lowest of woes. And everything in between. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Julian Hector: Monday is One Day. Dreams in 32-page spreads. And vibrant primary colors. And tight narrative arcs. I'm certain of it. He didn't tell me this outright, but his enthusiasm for the medium is so contagious that he's got me doing it. His latest book is a lovely collaboration with author/editor Arthur A. Levine. Monday is One Day. AB: Congratulations on the publication of Monday is One Day.

CreativityIncarnate: so, Dragon Age
http://creativityincarnate.blogspot.com/2015/07/so-dragon-age.html
Friday, July 10, 2015. So, Dragon Age. Not sure how I forgot to post all of these. Probably had something to do with the fact that I post my art to no less than three separate places on the internet and sometimes stuff slips through the cracks. Anway, here's more Dragon Age. But anyway. She's got better armor now than she did when I drew these, but you get the idea. I wish the character creator gave you the option of kinky curls, but since it's pretty limited, I'll just have to pretend. Fun and epic blogs.

Song Up In My Head. Yes is a world. And in this world of yes live. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Where Did I Leave the Joy Again? It's easy to lose sight of the joy that's supposed to come hand-in-hand with getting to practice your art. When you're a kid, you live in that joy. You follow your own creative interests, down any road- regardless of whether that road is marketable or effective or whatever. You don't care. You're doing it for you. Ignore everyone else in the room. Be gentle with yourself.

My Not So Secret Writing Life. Saturday, January 11, 2014. What would I do without words? Without characters and stories to create? Probably succumb to watching HGTV 24 hours a day. That channel is seriously addicting. 2 Squash pie from Wilson's. 3 Speaking of refrigerators. My new refrigerator! I love that this simple man of faith is leading my Church and I'm hopeful for its future. 5 The University of Notre Dame. He trained last summer, often running 8 to 15 miles in the heat. This past fall, on hi...

My Not So Secret Writing Life. Thursday, June 19, 2014. What Makes Me Happy. 1 I am officially on summer break from work for 2 and a half months. Although it will be a summer of full days as I catch up on deep cleaning the house and driving children to work, friends, camp etc., I'll finally be able to tackle projects that have been on hold for a month and a half - my WiP being one of them. 2 I'm on Twitter! Not sure whether to say "Yay! 4 Last Saturday I ran and finished my first 5K race! My time was 40:...
