She had a fabulous evening dancing under the stars. A woman in our ward offered her hair fixing skills to our young women. Pretty! A happy camper, but the awesome thing about Landon is that usually after the initial upset he finds a silver lining. After picnicking at Moss Beach we went exploring. We missed low tide by a couple of hours so we didn't see a whole lot, but there were a bunch of harbor seals on the beach. Landon and Kaylee were thrilled when they witnessed a baby seal scoot into the water after lounging on the sand. I vote WASHINGTON STATE!

It's hard to believe they have already started their second nine weeks. Ainsley started 8th grade. Kaylee started 5th grade. This past weekend was the Texas Book Festival. One of Ainsley's many favorite authors (Shannon Hale) was there reading from a new book (a really cute kids book called The Princess in Black. Friday, October 10, 2014.
