Don't let the difficulties of the present moments overshadow the reality of God's promises. God's promises still stand. And God's promises are stronger than our failures. Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Thanksgiving - An Action Verb. Tomorrow is the day in America set aside to be thankful for family and friends, for food and home. But Thanksgiving is not just a time.it's also an action verb. Giving thanks should be as natural as breathing to us but sometimes we take our blessings for granted. Last week I m...

And other KRAZY stuff. Friday, January 16, 2015. Try as I might. Well, well I could give you all my excuses even though they are legit I won't bore you with them, other than to say I just got overwhelmed. I started my cross stitching in mid December right in the middle of trying to get three quilts completed for Christmas gifts. I bought the Q Snap. Here is my stitching. I found these wonderful handles at Thearica's. Shop Crazy Quilting Supplies. I have the outside (except for the cross stitch), complete...

Thursday, July 16, 2015. Review of Predatory Kill. Legal Thriller: Predatory Kill. This book really kept me involved, which was a surprise, as I generally become bored with courtroom proceedings. Having been a juror, I certainly identified with Brent Marks' observation that he had to keep the jurors from lapsing into boredom induced unconsciousness. He certainly succeeded with this story, which is fast-paced with plenty of action inside and outside of the courtroom. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Cozy Noo...

Friday, October 3, 2014. Review: The Grave Robber by Mark Batterson. The Grave Robber, How Jesus Can Make Your Impossible Possible. By Mark Batterson is a wonderfully entertaining presentation of the seven miracles found in the Gospel of John and shows how miracles are sill happening today. With the skills of a true storyteller, Batterson combines the miracles of scripture with stories of his own experiences and those of friends and acquaintances. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Saturday, October 24, 2015. Book Review: A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. Bill Bryson is a best-selling American author of very funny travel memoirs, as well as books on the English language and science. Here he tells the story of his trek through the wilderness along the Appalachian Trail with a companion who is even more unprepared for the trek than is Bryson, himself. I do have several issues with the book. But, I will only elaborate on these two:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Work in Progress.
