Monday, December 1, 2014. Our brave, rough and tumble guy turned 15 months during our busy July. He is 24lbs (68%) and is 32" tall (76%! He's wearing 18 month clothes (it seems like he skipped 12 months size all together! He has eight teeth and 4 molars. His favorite words and phrases include: tickle tickle (and fingers wiggling), "guda go" (let it go), ba (balls, and all things circular, even wheels), nigh nigh, mouw (cat sound), na (banana), pointing to things he wants and grunting. Sunday, December 29, 2013. Santa is 8 months old! The cutest little Santa Claus just turned 8 months old! This was how we found Kyler most often this month. Under the tree. He thought it was the best hide out. His favorite thing to do down there was pull off ornaments and use them as teething toys. Sunday, November 30, 2014. Catching up: End of July and August 2014. We wrapped up our summer with lots of pool time and playing in our backyard! We had Papa and Grandma make one more visit, took our annual trip to Stoneridge and Silverwood, and of course took time to prepare my classroom. Cutest pool kids ever! Friday, January 2, 2015. In October Kyler truly entered toddlerhood! He got his very first hair cut which made him look SUPER old and SOOOO handsome. His Great Uncle Ken came from Wenatchee to do the honors. His dad gave Keith his first hair cut around this same age. Birthday at the Lake. On Friday Grama Pobst turned 85 (after celebrating 65 years of marriage on Thursday! The kids and I drove north and enjoyed a day at Lake Chelan in celebration. Both kids were wildly enthusiastic about swimming in the lake. By day's end, Shannon was "swimming" from Grama to me fully submerged. Mitch has become a major water lover this summer (whew! Baseball season at last! Yesterday was the field work day and practice begins on Monday with no pre-season restrictions.it's baseball season! He's focused - and thrilled to have new cleats and pants that fit. In fact, he was focused on sliding to get his new pants stained so he looked like a ball player. Oye vey.
