FIELD TRIPS AND EVENING WALKS FOR JULY/AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2016. Wednesday Evening Summer Walks Please Note: anyone wishing to carpool should phone in to make arrangements beforehand, otherwise please meet at the designated meeting place. Please call to let the leader know to expect you. The walks are generally about two to three hours long and are open to all Naturalist Clubs and members of the public (adults and children, but no pets please). 13th July, Wednesday (eve walk). Campbell Valley Regional Park.

Over the years, the Langley Field Naturalists have been involved in many conservation projects. A few of these projects are described below. The Langley Field Naturalists manage an 80 acre nature reserve in south Langley. Activities there include planting trees and shrubs to increase plant and wildlife diversity, removing invasive weeds, putting up nest boxes, and maintaining old field habitat for raptors.
