Language at Large - Home

Translators are travellers: we make contact with, and create linkages between languages, people, and cultures. I founded Language at Large. In 2010, while doing a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature. Because of my unusual status as a native English speaker in a French and Spanish speaking context, I was hired to translate for faculty and alumni at the University of Montreal. That’s where this started. I am now a CTTIC. And Member of the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia(STIBC).
