Follow me on Twitter. This was my first time to ACTFL and it was AMAZING! I was very lucky to attend a few sessions with Kara Jacobs. I also loved exploring Periscope. He showed us how technologies such as Periscope give audiences the potentiality to interact with your story in REAL TIME! For the film “. I only could attend half of this session so ...

Post to create something that would work well in my classroom. So far one student in each class has come back with their presentations. Students have the option to either create a ppt or a video about what they did for the week. Today I used a student ppt as a brain break when I saw students were getting antsy during a reading. Follow me on Twitter. So I am in love with #BreakoutEdu just like Martina Bex. After doing Martina’s Carmina Breakout. And seeing the students’ reactions, I am motivated to make one for each unit! They absolutely loved it and immediately asked when we could do another! It took my first class about 20 minutes to finish “Carmina” and my last class approximately 10 minutes. I am using the locks that Martina suggested in her post here. Finally I must give major thanks to Zaida Abrego. January 10, 2017. View ...

Follow me on Twitter. Video chats and more. I got the idea of Video chats from a #Cipeekweb inar with Carol Gaab and Kristy Placido. I loved that Carol Gaab’s class from the Dominican Republic and Kristy’s class in Michigan were able to communicate through videos with each other. The classes seemed to really enjoy it! I usually do it on Fridays to keep up motivation. I highly recommend it. They did a great job acting out the scene off of the top of their heads with little preparation! October 10, 2016.
