Lasting Impressions: July 2009
http://lannaejohnson.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 20, 2009. Brandy does it again! I know I've mentioned "my friend" Brandy to you before. Okay, so we're not. Friends, but I am certain we would be had we ever officially met. She is one of my blogging friends (there I go again,) and makes the most wonderful things with that sewing machine of hers. Well, now she is willing to give away the most favorite thing she's ever made. Isn't she thoughtful? I mean she could just keep her favorite things for herself! Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Meet Trigger&...

Lasting Impressions: April 2009
http://lannaejohnson.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. The point of no return. Yep I'd say we were officially there. There is no turning back now. Am I anxious and overwhelmed that there is a tremendous hole in our back yard? Surely you wouldn't think that! Looks refreshing doesn't it? I know you must be ready to dive right in. Well, talk to me in about a week. I am sure my perspective will be quite different. Monday, April 20, 2009. And, while he is not old enough for t-ball quite yet, my future base-runner is pretty darn cute!

Lasting Impressions: May 2009
http://lannaejohnson.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 22, 2009. Last August, we sent our first born into the unknown - unknown for all of us really, as we had never sent a child to be in the care of anyone other than us. We had lived with the little guy for five years at that point, so we felt pretty comfortable that we knew all the "ins and outs" of him. But would there be anyone there that could do the same? Would he make new friends? He had the most amazing teacher and parapro on the face of the earth, and they know his "ins and outs" as well...

The Soles Family: *Update* to Graduation
http://solesfamily09.blogspot.com/2010/09/update-to-graduation.html
Living life to the fullest. Thursday, September 16, 2010. Just to update everyone on where my brother ended up after graduation. After severals weeks of waiting, he was offered a fulltime position at the Childrens Hospital at the University of Utah! It's exactly what he was hoping for, although it is a little far from home. Brian and I drove down there over Labor Day weekend, and he's settling in nicely. It's a great place for him to be, and we wish him the very best in the coming year! He's in 1st grade...

The Soles Family: September 2010
http://solesfamily09.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Living life to the fullest. Thursday, September 23, 2010. I really don't like getting older, although the saying is that you get sweeter with age. Or maybe they were just talking about wine? I just don't want to be like the leftover block of cheese I found in my fridge the other day - discolored, molding, and just plain nasty. Look at what age did to it! By Friday I knew without a doubt that we were having a BBQ at my house. So I confronted him about it and A-HA! I just like to know about it, so I can ha...

The Soles Family: September 2009
http://solesfamily09.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Living life to the fullest. Tuesday, September 22, 2009. I have been in awe over the new fondant cakes, and decided that I wanted to try one of my own. I found some books at our local library that have awesome cookies, cupcakes and cake designs in them, along with recipes, instructions and techniques - everything you need to know to make them. With a dear friend's baby shower coming up I thought I would volunteer to make the cake - easy enough, right? Like I said, I'm more of a cupcake and cookie girl!

The Soles Family: October 2009
http://solesfamily09.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Living life to the fullest. Friday, October 30, 2009. Today is a bittersweet day. And mom gets to go back to the workforce. While I'm excited about this new adventure, I will truly miss my friends/coworkers at KMC, and the flexibility I've had over the years. Now is time for me to become a full time working mom again - to be a part of the workforce that I haven't felt I've been a part of for quite some time. Thanks to all my friends, family, and coworkers for your support! 9829; you all. Ever since Brian...

The Soles Family: February 2010
http://solesfamily09.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Living life to the fullest. Sunday, February 14, 2010. This year we were not home when Santa came by our house, and the kids were really disappointed. So, in an effort to keep them "believing", we bought tickets for the Couer d'alene Fantasy Cruise and took them to the North Pole to see Santa. Shianne and Hunter were worried! Overall, they had a great time, and the season for believing continued for another year. Our annual Baking Day was a huge hit this year! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). At 10 years old,...
