Someone Like Samantha: January 2011
http://someonelikesam.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
A Book Lover's Blog. Sunday, January 30, 2011. XVI - Julia Karr - 2011. 2011 Debut Author Challenge. Book # 2 (of 12). This book only furthered my love for dystopian novels. Nina is such a fiercely independent character, refusing to give in to the "sex-teen" ways that are constantly pushed upon teenage girls in the society she lives in. She is forced into becoming like a parent to her little sister, Dee, and though she loves Dee, she is also frustrated that this has happened to her family. It made me sad...

Chantal's Book Blog (among other things). Where you can always find a good read. December 2, 2009 by Chantal. So I know that it has been a while. I got very slack-ish when the holidays came around. I’m sorry. On a good note, the holidays so far have been wonderful. I just love family time, and the breaks from school leave me with plenty of free time to read. =]. The most recent novel that I had the pleasure of reading was Becca Fitzpatrick’s. Only this wasn’t exactly true. I’d liked. See what I mean?

Chantal's Book Blog (among other things). Where you can always find a good read. Laquo; The Host. New Ways to Read. October 2, 2009 by Chantal. With technology advancing the way it is, it gets harder and harder to keep up with what’s out there. As soon as something new comes out…something better shows up. It’s completely mind boggling. Today reading old fashioned books is old news, apparently. There are newer and more improved ways to read the novel of your choice. For example, you can purchase. 3G wirel...

The blog of fantasy author Shanna Swendson. Read about my adventures in publishing and occasionally life. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Monday, January 30, 2006. Too Stupid to Live. Thanks to everyone for all the anti-cold tips. Now I just need a trip to test them out on! Though I may start with just leaving the house here.) I still have a few sniffles, but I suspect that the current climate conditions are making things ripe for allergies. I've seen theories as to the true identity of Miss Snark, and I had ...

Muse and Vent: March 2012
http://museandvent.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Review of "Dear Bully". I used to think I was bullied in middle school. In sixth grade, an eighth-grade boy on my bus used to threaten to rape me, and the bus driver would just laugh and shake his head. But that boy never touched me. Was it funny? No Was it bullying? I read Dear Bully. I’ve never read her before, but I will now- plus, look at those covers! But most were instances of authors calling apples oranges. Having your best friend decide she isn’t your friend anymore? Bully...

Sunday, November 19, 2006. I am gearing up for:. The end of The Bachelor (I liked Lorenzo, but could they not put him opposite some women who were a little more mature? I'm guessing Jen gets the loan of the ring until her father chases Lorenzo off with his gun and Sadie rides of crying in the limo thankful her virginity is intact.). Getting hooked on Heroes after The Bachelor ends. Seeing whether the blondes or the models win Amazing Race. (I'm gunning for the first two-women team.). Are you a TV watcher?
