Beautiful writing, characters with a humanness and frailty you can relate to. I loved this book. Every so often I read a book that makes me stop, look around and truly see. Saturday, August 27, 2016. The girls and I took an impromptu trip to Summerland this past week, and spent 3 glorious days basking in the sun and enjoying the beauty of the Okanagan. The only downside was the fact that I burnt to a crisp on day one. and had to sit in the shade for the rest of our beach days. When will I learn (it really didn't seem that. And while we may not have our own private beach to vacation at anymore, my kids LOVE. Abs hanging in the shade with me on day two. Abby enjoying the view.
