I belong to a mom's club here, and for the service project this month, we put our kids in their costumes and head over to a nursing home. There were actually 2 nursing homes across the street from each other, so we went to the first one and walked around saying "Happy Halloween! We went to the second nursing home and they had a whole Halloween Party set up for us!

I can't believe it's been so long since I've last updated my blog.So much has happened since then. Our kids go to year round school and we thought we'd take advantage of one of their breaks and escaped the horrid heat of Arizona. It was gorgeous weather in Utah and visiting with family was a huge plus!

It's usually not too far from home, although she did take us all to Disneyland one year, and to South Dakota another year. Lately though because the family is growing and there are a lot more people, we have kept it pretty close. The house she rented was huge and gorgeous. Tons of room for all 19 of us! Wednesday, May 25, 2011. The Four O'clock Hour. What the heck am I supposed to do now? Those of you who know me know that I don't watch TV. I don't have an evening "show". But I do record Oprah. I let them all pile up and then delete the ones I don't want to watch. Then late at night when the kids are in bed or while I'm on the treadmill,. I watch my friend.
