My life in Vermont. Can Spring be all that far away? Subtle Signs of Spring. March 12, 2014. With Spring just around the corner (NOT – we are currently getting 15 more inches of snow), I thought I would make another rock sweater. It is made of very fine thread (no. 12 perle cotton) with a size 10 hook, and the rock is about 2.5″x3″. My life in Vermont. It’s time…. June 25, 2014. I’ve been in my studio lately. I’ve finished up a few postcards and some leaf works that were taking up room on my design wall. Note to self: Photograph before inserting glass. Then finish framing! The artwork is 4″x 6″ and framed to 8″x 10″. Ti Plant has been submitted to a local show at the Billings Farm Museum. My life in Vermont. June 22, 2013. Peonies have long held a special place in my heart. My mother had them when we kids were growing up and I remember their luxurious beauty and sweet, delicate fragrance. We used to pick the ones that were bent over and touching the ground; we shook off their compliment of ants, and brought them in to grace the table.
