Leather Work by Elizabeth

Leather Work by Elizabeth. Thursday, April 28, 2011. For my Production Design Class, I created wall hangings with cowboy imagery seared into leather and supported by Pendleton Wool Blanket remnants. This is the process I went through:. I burned a line drawing. And then I made shading, sewn remnants together, did a blanket stitch on the edges and used horseshoe nails to attach them together. All of the images can be found here. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Here is my friend Dee doing barrels at the same Rodeo.

Leather Work by Elizabeth: Cowboy Gear: pulling collar and mecate

http://www.leatherworkbyelizabeth.blogspot.com/2011/03/cowboy-gear.html

Leather Work by Elizabeth. Thursday, March 3, 2011. Cowboy Gear: pulling collar and mecate. Featured is a pulling collar (breast collar) I made with the help of someone with the proper equipment. A sewing machine capable of sewing leather is always a plus. I cut out the parts and rounded the corners and as of now, it's aging quite well. And I chose something plain, no leather work, because the available leather wasn't thick enough to hold a good impression. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Leather Work by Elizabeth: Cowboy Gear: sheath and chaps

http://www.leatherworkbyelizabeth.blogspot.com/2011/03/cowboy-gear-sheath-and-chaps.html

Leather Work by Elizabeth. Thursday, March 3, 2011. Cowboy Gear: sheath and chaps. This is the sheath I made for my sheath knife. It is hand sewn and sits horizontally when laced through a belt. Here is a close up of my chaps I made. I hand-carved the designs to match with the tooling of my saddle. And here are some pictures of me using my chaps. The white mare is my Gracie and the chestnut is Stetson,. I rode him at Clarks Fork. They are very helpful in deflecting brush. More of Elizabeth's Work.

Leather Work by Elizabeth. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. This piece I completed by working the iron rods in a propane forge and shaping them into hooks at the ends. I used my wood burner to create the image. And this is my first leather burning, I made it as the legacy board for Clarks Fork at Philmont Scout Ranch. Here is one I did of my friend, Parker riding a Ranch Bronc in the Cimarron, NM Rodeo. Here is my friend Dee doing barrels at the same Rodeo. Thursday, March 3, 2011. Cowboy Gear: sheath and chaps.

In A Sentence .org. The best little site that helps you understand word usage with examples. Leatherwork in a sentence. Having spluttered vigorously into double-handfuls of water from the little stream and put the towel back on its bush, he turned his attention to his twelve-dollar boots - for in the country of boots and saddles the leatherwork is the soul of appearances. The dread Phenokrike of the Siberian Shamans caught my eye in its gaudy leatherwork folio. Use canalised in a sentence. Having splutte...
