Wednesday, December 31, 2014. A cold on chemo is nothing to sneeze at! Holy hell I thought I was dying three days ago. I'm sorry. I’m grateful because most days I have felt amazing – considering - but on days I feel bad it’s hard to stay in a good place between my ears. My thoughts drift into every scary place imaginable. I have all these crazy thoughts about what is happening to me. Our thinking can take us to some scary places. Why is it we believe our own thinking to be real? They were very real to me.

Thursday, December 4, 2014. It gets better. . Again, I know that probably sounds way far in left field to a lot of you but I will explain more in my book. And just in case any of you are wondering I'm not smoking any medical mary jane. ;). So chemo did suck but it only lasted a few days. By Thanksgiving (3 days after chemo) I was eating a full meal and laughing with mom and dad. Hell, full disclosure I had pan crust pizza hut pizza the night of chemo! December 5, 2014 at 1:35 PM. Tuesday, October 28, 2014. I woke up good this morning! Yesterday was a terrible day. I woke up in pain, stiff, and overall feeling shity! The drains are draining less and less. I'm so grateful for that. We are recording the drainage twice a day and once it drops below 20cc a day I can take out the drains. I think I will at least lose two of the four by this Friday. I want to take a minute to endorse two products that I purchased that have made this journey a MILLION times easier. I still woke up round 2...

Wednesday, November 12, 2014. I dont wanna play anymore. Post op - Ugh! So this journey sucks. I still feel good almost all of the time but it is a serious mind game sometimes. I constantly feel this super vice grip pressure on my chest because of these tissue expanders, they suck. I don't think that will go away until I have my second surgery. It's weary to wake up every morning to drains, bandages, numbness, etc. Do you want to know why? I got my head back in the game! It's just part of my journey.
