Just Smile and Nod: Concierto de Cuidad
http://mnlydia.blogspot.com/2013/04/concierto-de-cuidad.html
Sunday, April 7, 2013. When I first heard about a concert that would incorporate distinct musicians. Hidden throughout the hills, plan, and bay of Valparaiso, I had high. Expectations and an unrealistic idea of how well the hills would carry. The music. After all, Valparaiso's hills seem overly efficient at. Carrying all the unwanted noises: carretes, fights, barking dogs,. Unreasonably loud music, and other random sounds that wake me from. My sleep or contemplate calling the cops. Shouts advertising veg...

Just Smile and Nod: Quick trip to Antofagasta
http://mnlydia.blogspot.com/2012/01/quick-trip-to-antofagasta.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Quick trip to Antofagasta. One of the most notable events in my life this past year was getting sent to Antofagasta. I probably otherwise would've never considered going, and didn't expect much because in general people don't speak too highly of the city; I'm not really sure why that is. It wasn't so bad, though it was more expensive and I definitely wouldn't trade it for Valparaiso. La portada. It's pretty, though I don't get the hype. Check out the hilarious nicknames.

Just Smile and Nod: Dangerous? I'll convince myself otherwise...
http://mnlydia.blogspot.com/2012/03/dangerous-ill-convince-myself-otherwise.html
Sunday, March 4, 2012. I'll convince myself otherwise. In Chile, everybody who doesn't live in Valparaiso tends to claim that Valpo is "dirty and dangerous." I will usually give them that first point, but not the second. I tend to believe that people exaggerate and that bad things can happen anywhere. In Chile, my hope of being helped in a dangerous situation is non-existent, as numerous events. Have formed this outlook. March 5, 2012 at 5:24 PM. Very true. Once I was lost in Minneapolis and my GPS d...

Qualquer dia desses...: What do you want to be when you grow up?
http://anaeasletras.blogspot.com/2013/06/what-do-you-want-to-be-when-you-grow-up.html
Friday, June 21, 2013. What do you want to be when you grow up? I was always a good student, getting high grades and never failing my exams, but I never understood why we had to study stuff like complicated math, chemistry, physics. I wanted to learn first aids, cooking, driving and other useful subjects. I loved my history, language and literature classes. On my second year at Uni, I started teaching. I know what I want to be when I grow up! I have been reading blogs and e-books about creating business ...

Brave Empathy - Jennifer Massoni PardiniJennifer Massoni Pardini

Writer, Editor, Mother, Heart Collector. July 21, 2015. For about a week after my colleague Leslie Forman. And I redesigned this site and redirected its message, I sat still, anxious to officially announce it. Why the hesitation? Within 24 hours, I heard from Valerie Meek. Who directs Pregnancy After Loss Support. And who lost her son, Patrick, during her pregnancy last year. Just like that, she validated the vulnerability. Since they launched last June, I’ve leaned on and recommended. To provide peer to...
