Fort Ticonderoga, August 2003. 01 - Lake George. To reach Fort Ticonderoga, we drove up the east side of Lake George, a long north-south lake that reminded me of the Scottish lochs. Although the east shore is fairly well developed for tourism, the west shore is almost untouched, leading to lovely views across the lake. 02 - Fort Ticonderoga. 03 - Lake Champlain. 04 - Fife and Drum Corps.
