Saturday, April 12, 2008. Spring Break Travel Lessons. So I recently traveled to Guatemala over spring break. It was an incredible trip, and I learned some valuable traveling lessons. I plan on applying my new knowledge this summer when I go to Japan! Pack as much in your carry-on as possible, so that if you don't get your luggage you don't have to be quite as sad. When climbing volcanoes, be sure not to get too close to the lava. Drink lots of delicious coffee tea and smoothie drinks when possible.
