Thursday, January 29, 2015. Brock is now 8 months old and still very much a puppy! Here are some pictures we took this week! Jason took this picture with my phone after I went to bed one night. I was shocked to see it when I uploaded some pictures to my school computer! Monday, January 26, 2015. A Trip to the Dog Park that Ended in the E.R. Everything happened so quickly, but here's what I pieced together. That was the first time Jacob let me see the injury without the Kleenex. After it was all done 2...

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Sunday Funday Family Vacation Style - Day 3. On Sunday we went on another hike. It was Father's Day so Jason got to pick the activities of the day. This time we went on the creek trail. Of course before we left we went down to the river to throw rocks. What is it with boys having to throw a rock when they are near water? It was cloudy and the trees kept us shaded. This was a cool tree that we named "4". The trail was parallel to this creek most of the way. Bring on the A/C! Finall...

Tuesday, February 24, 2015. We had a "snow" day on Monday, February 23. This picture sums it up! It started sleeting Sunday night and continued into Monday morning. Luckily, the school district cancelled school Sunday night and we were able to sleep late. After lunch Jacob went over to a friend's house and I worked on cleaning out his playroom. It ended up being a productive day with lots of laziness thrown in. Perfect! Monday, February 23, 2015. Our Week - Feb.16-22. My dad can't stand animals, but Broc...

Monday, October 27, 2014. Trick or Treating at The Shops. Saturday afternoon we went Trick-or-Treating at the Shops. They had a dog costume contest and free candy at each store. We dressed Brock in his shark costume, but we didn't think we'd have a chance at winning. Surprise! He won the award for the Scariest Costume! We were all so excited! Jacob also played some games while we sweated buckets in the 90 degree October heat! Here's Jason walking toward the judges. Labels: dog costume contest. Last Frida...

We kicked off our summer at home with basketball camp for Brody and VBS for Kate. That meant an early rise and ready time for everyone, but it was worth it. After the morning activities we headed to the Rab's house for some swimming fun. These kiddos have grown up together! My neighbor, Amy, worked VBS and snapped the only picture I have of Kate enjoying the week. She came home everyday singing songs and talking about what they did. It was a blast! Grammy and Poppa came up to see the game and then we all...

These girls are my TEAM, and I mean that in more ways than one! I definitely couldn't do my job without our hallways chats! Diane gave a sweet toast that made me cry! Here's the big gang before heading to the banquet. Linda, Gayle, Me, Diane, Melinda, Pam. Katie, DeNae, Sheila, Stacey. We had to take two cars, and Sheila kept texting me to say that her car was more fun than ours. We had to prove her wrong. The boys in the front were not amused! Here I am getting my "MAJOR AWARD! The top five finalist.

We celebrated Brody's birthday last weekend with an overnight stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Brody decided that he really wanted to bring Johnathan to celebrate instead of having a party. We left school right at 3:00 pm and headed straight there. Justin arrived a bit early and got us checked in. As soon as we arrived we snapped a pic and then changed into our swimsuits. Woo Hoo! After spending almost three hours in the park, they were DONE! The boys LOVED having their own little cabin with a TV! Kate ran down...

I had the hardest time thinking of a title for this post, because it is such a hodge podge. Here is what we were up to this week. Monday through Wednesday were just the normal days. Monday-piano and baseball GAME. Thursday was a bit different. Grammy was in the area delivering goodies to the airport and decided to make a surprise visit for lunch! They were both SO excited! Isn't my mom BEAUTIFUL? They got to show off their chosen Community Helper during a schoolwide parade on Friday morning! Saturday was...

We headed to College Station last weekend for a family wedding. Our very first stop was Aggieland Outfitters for more Aggie Gear! Brody picked out these cool shades! After lunch, we headed to Brenham for the wedding. It was rainy, but we managed to snap a few pictures! The next morning we had breakfast and headed to campus. The kids couldn't wait to go and see where they will one day go to college! The MSC was closed due to Memorial Day, but we took a quick tour to see Sul Ross. And a few buildings.
