Nov 21, 2013. Pre Winter Blues in my garden. Not much happen in my garden now when it prepares for the Swedish cold winter, but yesterday we had frost, and that always bring a certain beauty to the darkness :D. My Snowberry bushes bring some light to the darkness. Just now is the water in the stream pretty high by my footbridge, but are regulated further down in the dam's around the Lövstabruk Manor, wonder how it's in the spring when the melting snow can bring a LOT of water. Feb 28, 2014. Garden Inspiration: Jardin Botanico in Puerto de la Cruz-Tenerife. In December this winter I had the absolute pleasure to visit the beautiful Jardin Botanico. Situated high above the ocean in Puerto de la Cruz on the Canary Island of Tenerife (Spain). The Garden is established 1788 by D'Alonso de Nava Grimon, Marquis of Villanueva del Prado, by order of Carlos III. I only had a couple of hours there, but could have stayed for days! That is possible since there is a hotel. Puerto de la Cruz.

This beautiful little town along Upplands coast in Sweden where founded 1491 and have been burned down twice; by the Danes in the 1520's and by the Russians 1791. May 26, 2014. Garden Inspiration at Bukowskis Classic Spring Auction in Stockholm. The last days I haven't had time to be so much in my garden, I´m working with Jewellery at the Auction House Bukowskis. Just now it is the viewings of the items for the big Classic Spring Auction. And I found a lot of flowers there as well, real ones and on ceramic, paintings, textiles and jewellery off course! Porcelain, Meissen 1890's. Aug 24, 2014. Everything is still growing, even more so the grass! Just now I'm working a lot, both in Stockholm and my village so there is a lot of time spent on buses and trains. So I really enjoy the few moments I have in my own garden, and are grateful everything still is growing and have a lot of flowers.
