Omaha Metro - Kite Expo 2014. Meet a Kite Explorer. Sneak Peak at the Omaha Metro Kite. Visions of Lewis and Clark. Kite exhibit is based on Lewis and Clark journal quotes and serve as a tribute to the people and natural resources the Corps of Discovery encountered on their journey. This is the first time in the United States there has been a theme-based historical kite exhibit. The exhibit is comprised of 30 original art kites designed and constructed by some of America's most renowned kite builders.
