http://letswearplaid.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
I've been busy lately with classes starting back up and moving into a new apartment, so no photos for now. Hopefully I'll get a chance to shoot this weekend. For now, I'll tell you to go check out these great double exposures. By Damon Winter on the NYT website. I found this via Vince Laforet's blog. Which is definitely a blog worth bookmarking. Posted by Zach B. The First Press Conference. Football season is fast approaching; this is from the OU football team's first weekly press conference of the season.

The Last from Sedona. Ok, so here are the last photos I'm going to post from my trip. Hopefully I can offer a little diversity from here on out. Thanks for any feedback. Posted by Zach B. The Fringe Benefits of Failure, and the Importance of Imagination". If you have not had a chance to hear or see J.K. Rowling's Harvard commencement speech, you should. It's great. You can youtube it or read (or watch) it here. Or listen to it here. It's 20 minutes long, but it's worth every second. Posted by Zach B.

Saturday, May 31, 2008. Branson Landing is a pretty nice place. We stayed at the Hilton there, which is also quite nice. The hotel is connected to the strip and made going from the room to "the shop" pretty easy. Here is the front of RZ during the Sneak Peek on Friday. The "ZEO" Larry cuts the chain to the new store on Saturday. Open for business. Big Foot the monster truck, complete with RZ flag on the back, crushes a row of old cars as part of the weekend's festivities. Needless to say, it was loud.

Wednesday, January 30, 2008. MM9 Clinton on Campus.jpg. Today was an interesting shooting day. President Bill Clinton came to campus to talk up Hillary for the upcoming primary (Super Tuesday). The event was open to the public, and as a result a line of people stretched from the field house all the way to Elm Street. One other fact to consider with fluorescent tungsten is that they have "cycles" where they give off a full charge and go down to less than a full charge. You know when you can hear the l...

Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Workin' for the Weekend. Saturday, June 21, 2008. After work, I studied my last little bit of microecon and took the test. 50 questions, hour and a half time limit. It took me 28 minutes to complete and I felt pretty confident that I knew the material. Unfortunately I got an 84. Oh well, what can I do now. Still really good compared to my macroecon experiences at OU. Ok, with work done and the test over with, I had some free time. Hooray! What was my plan? St Louis as seen from ...

SoonerZoom: July 2009

Thursday, July 02, 2009. What is up with Blogger always uploading pictures in a weird order? Oh well, here are some pictures from my somewhat limited adventures considering how long I've been here. Stuffed wolf posed as an ominous predator at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. An obscene sculpture at the national sculpture exhibit. Half pizza cutter half runaway shopping cart wheel? I look at the Hall of Statues in the Capitol building. It was rather nice. The Capitol rotunda. How very rotund.

Sunday, July 27, 2008. I Want to Go Home. Saturday, July 26, 2008. Shooting on a Free Weekend. I finally don't have school work to have to do on the weekend. I've just been chillin and taking a few pics here and there. I convinced Ben I needed to practice on my portraiture before the start of the semester in order to stay sharp. It was nearing sunset, so we went across the way to an empty parking garage to shoot. Here's what we came up with in the newfound free time:. From above. Nikon D300, 200mm, 1...

Friday, June 26, 2009. After what seemed like about five to ten minutes, I am leaving the Sports desk and going to the A section on Monday. I've come to enjoy the work I've done at Sports. I got to do the section front four or five times and got used to the workflow. I hope the A section isn't too much different, although it is a hell of a lot larger. I also got paid today. Taxes sure take a large bite out. So was this portrait of President Obama. They prints were huge! Tuesday, June 16, 2009. On that no...
