I can't wait for the conversations I'm going to have when I get home, sharing all I've done and seen. After the hot pot we worshipped and then the brothers all blessed me. Wednesday, 28 December 2011. A Hong Kong Christmas. So the day entailed two parties, the morning at 'Kowloon City Vineyard' (KLT). Where we all had christmas lunch. Yes there was turkey and yes there was rice. The Evening was a lot of fun, we ate amazing food, was entertained by the talents of the Gogetters in Shing Mun, and joined together in worship. A side note, for this I joined the worship band for the first time, yes we sang christmas songs and yes they were in Chinese. Wednesday, 21 December 2011.

Tuesday, 20 March 2012. Excuse me, is this the way to Vietnam? However the bags we are taking are INCREDIBLY heavy what with it's contents being little clothes, and more food. So when getting through customs and things, we have to appear as though they aren't so heavy. Hurrah! Now prayer is needed for the following. We essentially don't run out of money/food etc. Also three of our team are English and the other four are Chinese, even though we have two who are bilingual it's important that no instruction...

Tuesday, 29 November 2011. Basically a lot of fried food. It was AMAZING. French fries, Fried chicken, fish and burgers. What was the nicest part was the fact there was RAW SALAD. The Chinese tend to boil everything. Even lettuce. It was a really nice evening, a massive family feel and there was a lot to be thankful for. Moment. I find it funny how much humbling God does here, by the end I'm going to be a dependent wreck who requires Jesus as my full body stretcher- I can't wait. Tuesday, 22 November 2011.

Tuesday, 31 January 2012. This week at our gap year meeting (basically the gap years come together and worship and pray together… it’s good stuff) I had a real breakthrough spiritually. I know that God’s been revealing to me what ‘freedom’ means, and although it’s been head knowledge for years, I think this week was when it went deeper to the heart. The truth that Jesus dying on the cross was him giving me permission to fail. God didn't give me a time limit; He just said “go”. Tuesday, 24 January 2012.
