Noble Spirit: Emerge
http://js-thelifeandtimes.blogspot.com/2010/03/emerge.html
The Journey of a Lifetime. Sunday, March 7, 2010. In the country air barren fields and barbwire. I can hear the sound of emergence,. The slow ascent of Spring and childhood. Through the pine and willow we catch a glimpse of a red-shouldered hawk. And I teach you about it. View from a distance, watch you learn to balance. Above the rock wall and gravel,. Silhouetted- sun rays compete to shine on your accomplishment. Raise both hands in excitement, triumphant,. Aware of the growth in you, blossoming. Upon ...

The Journey of a Lifetime. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Eye of the Beholder. Eye of the Beholder. An assignment was given to our cohort to bring in something. That represents us, our change over the last year,. A certain something, a tangible something to share our growth. To those individuals who have seen us grow,. And weep, and struggle laugh and pray,. Meditate, communitcate, chant, and elevate. This was a sketch to display the Lion in me,. And conversed in a way unplanned.

The Ghost of Electricity: August 2005
http://ecstasyamongghosts.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
The Ghost of Electricity. Tuesday, August 16, 2005. You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. The trees are pushing up into the fog. It looks like their heads are cut off. The fog is pushing down to the ground. The world seems pretty pissed off. There’s blood on the road here most of the time. There’s people yelling out in the night. There’s women sitting next to their telephones. Waiting for the ringer of fright. Sometimes I wonder what it’s all about. This addiction to power and fame.

The Ghost of Electricity: February 2011
http://ecstasyamongghosts.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
The Ghost of Electricity. Saturday, February 26, 2011. At about 3 am I walked into the kitchen and turned on the light just in time to see a deer mouse scamper across the floor and disappear into a space that I would have a hard time slipping a piece of paper into. It was impressive. They're here. I know they're here. And I've purchased the traps. I just can't seem to get myself to set them. So I did the next best thing. ;). I wrote a poem. I hear them in the walls. And snow’s enormous silence. Then I "p...

The Ghost of Electricity. Monday, April 26, 2010. This morning….four sounds –. The rumble of rails on track,. The train’s deep whistle,. And the clang-clang of the crossing-bell. In the distant dark-. And it reminded me. Of the endless train of blessings. From so many dear friends. I was so grateful. That I could not sleep. Thank you all so much. April 26, 2010. John L. Stanizzi. Links to this post. Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Ruth Daigon - A Memorial. Ruth and Artie had two children and eventually they c...

The Ghost of Electricity: Blogging??
http://ecstasyamongghosts.blogspot.com/2011/02/blogging.html
The Ghost of Electricity. Friday, February 25, 2011. I am not at all sure what "blogging" is all about. I post comments, poems, links in the apparant black hole of the internet. Then I "publish" that stuff to my universe of "followers," which numbers, like, four. How powerful. Then the "followers" may or may not look at my blog, and rarely - no - less than rarely, make a comment. 1 What is the purpose of a blog? 2 Does anyone read them? 3 How do people know it exists? 4 Where do the "followers" come from?
