Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Sunday, July 6, 2014. From Motorcycles to Trout, We Saw It All. On Thursday the 3. Of July, we make the pilgrimage to the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame. It was well worth the trip. We saw so many old and unusual motorcycles, including a number of Indians. And we saw some old familiar cycles too. There were even a couple of sidecar rigs! And even a wooden Harley! And many others. Some fancy…. Today weR...

Rains All The Time: I'm Baaack!
http://sandrontheroad.blogspot.com/2015/06/im-baaack.html
Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Friday, June 5, 2015. After weeks of being locked out of the blog, I'm back in again! As many of you know, we left the Seattle area on 1 June. On that day, about 2 pm, we had another deer encounter. The deer (a nice 4 point buck) decided to suicide on the front end of the moho. No, I did not field dress and freeze the deer. I did not keep his velvety antlers as a "prize". Vermin. It was fun, and even Norm got to take...

http://sandrontheroad.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Wednesday, November 27, 2013. This is the most important thing Ray had to say today (so far):. 185 days, 26 weeks, 127 workdays, 6 holidays and 14 paydays remaining. But who’s counting? From the usual author:. In line with that countdown, yesterday the old fence came down. The new fence posts are going in today. Brad is here repairing drywall in the garage, and yesterday he replaced the security light in the backyard.

Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Oh, Norm and I had a lovely time Vacationing up at Birch Bay Campground! Only one day did I have to run the a/c for a time.it was warm and muggy and no breeze that day, so in the afternoon and until the sun went down I ran the a/c, but was able to turn it off for tv time and bed. It's so nice to lay in bed and feel the breezes and see the stars. Then I draped and hung undies all over the ins...

Rains All The Time: Too Much Fun
http://sandrontheroad.blogspot.com/2014/07/too-much-fun.html
Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Sunday, July 27, 2014. We had such a good tkme in South Dakota, and we have had a blast with our niece Robin. We're sorry we've had neither time, nor energy and sometimes not even a cell phone connection to write the blog. But we have pictures to post and stories to tell. Tomorrow we're off for Forest City, Iowa to visit Winnie MoHo's birth place, and then we'll be in Belvidere, Illinois for a week or so.

house of peanut: Backstory
http://houseofpeanut.blogspot.com/p/backstory.html
One of the first things I read on a new blog is the "About Me" page. So I'm not sure why it took me so long to put one together. I guess I could write the usual chronological bio, but that's pretty boring. I'm more of a bullet point kind of girl, so here are some of the important parts of who I am:. American-born daughter of two happily married (40 years! Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Skipped K and 4th grade graduated from high school at 15. Seattle resident for all but two years since 1997.

http://sandrontheroad.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Friday, June 20, 2014. We got the new license plates for the MoHo and my bike the other day. Got the plates put on the MoHo. But of course the bike will have to wait until we get it to Tucson next fall. Here are some pictures of the little brown bird and Norman. More to follow sometime. Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Could Have Been Worse. It kept creeping closer. It's almost on top of us. Here's a good hail picture. I ...

Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. And Here We Are. In Ellensburg, still. This is getting frustrating! This is my third attempt to get a blog posted. The connection dies, Picasa freezes, the browser gets “stuck”. Oh well, the joys of technology. The good news is that the insurance has agreed to pay for fixing the moho! Best laid plans of mice and men, eh? I tell you what though, I am NOT missing out on the lobsters! We 3 went d...

Rains All The Time: March 2014
http://sandrontheroad.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Thursday, March 27, 2014. Ray's plan in 95 days:. Friday, March 21, 2014. Time grows short even as the days grow longer. We're in the midst of trying to get everything sorted, discarded, recycled, donated, shredded and cleaned up. We've only got a couple of months to finish and it doesn't feel nearly long enough. The time for panic is soon upon us, but we're trying to avoid that as much as possible. But Paige, Robin,...

Rains All The Time: States and States Behind
http://sandrontheroad.blogspot.com/2014/08/states-and-states-behind.html
Rains All The Time. Random Ramblings from Ray and Susan and Occasional Motorcycle Rides. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. States and States Behind. I can tell you one thing. Harley Davidson has more stores scattered across the countryside than God has green apples. There are a lot of Harley stores. Give me regular Washington state moisture that falls from the sky any day. We are parked under some giant oak trees. For those who have forgotten, or maybe never met an oak tree, they grow acorns. Lots. Ray and I had...
