December 8, 2014. Overwhelming. I have been home for a week now and it has been overwhelming. The past four months seem so surreal. I find it hard to grasp on to any tangible memories. Just another typical Sunday in Faleasao. 7:30- Woke up and started brewing water for the French press (I’d be so lost without it! 8:30-10:00- Church (it’s all in Samoan and we can’t understand a thing, which means we read our own books in the back pews until the service is over). November 26, 2014. It wasn’t glamorous. I wasn’t surrounded by my family or childhood friends. I didn’t have my hair done and I had no make up on. There was no cake or candles or celebration. But I didn’t care because I had my Samoan family. I have the time of my life with Erika and Colin (even though we rarely have actual things to do) and I couldn’t have asked for better company!
