Be warned these are good! 100g chocolate, 50% cocoa solids. 100g chocolate, 70% cocoa solids. 397g tin of carnation caramel. 200g golden caster sugar. 1 Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas. Grease then line a 23cm square traybake tin with baking paper. Melt the butter in a pan, break in all the chocolate, then remove the pan from the heat and wait for the cubes to melt. July 24, 2016. Follow my life and adventures! Even more so since I started making my own. It tastes 100% better than the stuff in jars. I normally use almonds instead of pine nuts, but I reckon you can substitute for whatever nuts you have in the cupboard. Don’t have parmesan? Don’t eat cheese? Don’t like parmesan? Trying to eat healthier? Whatever the reason this recipe using avocado instead of parmesan is a great idea. Handful of almonds (of whatever nuts you fancy). Handful of basil (or I used corriander).
