Saturday, August 1, 2015. How to take a photograph. Nowhere, in anything I have read or learned about photography, is. It suggested that you line up your subjects up with the sun squarely on their faces and in their eyes, yet that is just what I did for Kyle and family. I'm spending the weekend in Lake Hallie, near Chippewa Falls, WI to watch Gage play baseball and to spend time with Kyle's family. It's perfect summer weather, and we found a nice place for lunch called The View right on Laker Wissota.

Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Homeward Bound after Colton Flowage. Okay, so I left the flowage, heading back to County Road G, which I thought I could take South to Rice Lake. I decided I might as well continue on the road less traveled. So, I'm driving along, when I see this road sign for Wozny Road. This wouldn't mean anything to anyone else, but a couple of my pals who are really good wildlife photographers, have often talked about Wozny road and I've seen some of their photos. Sunday, August 31, 2014. Some things pretty much have to wait. I've figured out how to accomplish many tasks while I am recuperating, but there are a few things that are very tricky. Washing clothes and getting them back into the closet is a major pain. I bought a cart that I can use to get the basket of clothes to the laundry room, but then the rest is pretty difficult. The blessed event occurred Friday morning, before we left for our day, and it involved the hatching of four baby geese. They were properly placed under Mother when we left, but were decidedly LEAVING THE NEST when we got back. So we let Mommy and her babies, daddy and the two uncles take care of the clan over night. It will be perfect for these lovelies.

Saturday, March 31, 2018. I'm continuing to fine tune the table topper pattern that looks like Danish Hearts. Today I sewed up a version that worked out well. I had discovered I needed good contrast between the white in the hearts and the corners,. So I decided to use some left over fabric I had that has little trees on it.
