Guest Post: Mormons and Harry Potter | Proud Daughter of Eve
https://pdoe.wordpress.com/2007/06/02/guest-post-mormons-and-harry-potter
Proud Daughter of Eve. June 2, 2007. Guest Post: Mormons and Harry Potter. Posted by pdoe under Uncategorized. I am a Harry Potter fan. Love the books. Love them. A co-worker of mine is a very devout Christian (Southern Baptist I think) and he and his wife home school their 3 children. They decided on home schooling to ensure that their children learned correct values and the like. Very, very nice people. Why does the Church not address it? Harry Potter – good or evil? Scrapbook Widower: The Church of the One True Scrapper
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/02/church-of-one-true-scrapper.html
Wednesday, 5 March 2008. The Church of the One True Scrapper. And while on the subjest of religious affiliation. . . I note that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints (more conveniently called 'Mormons') are very, very fond of Genealogy. They certainly have extensive databases dedicated to collecting and recording family details. Thus it should be no surprise at all that they also feature heavily in the scrapping world. How do they do it? Does it influence the scrapping style? Ahahaha...

Scrapbook Widower: I'm Sorry
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/02/im-sorry.html
Wednesday, 13 February 2008. And I'm glad we've finally heard that from our PM. No, saying sorry doesn't solve the problems but it is a damn fine starting point. We might not have caused the problems but we do have to fix them. The tears pouring down the faces of some of the elderly Aboriginal people in crowds around Australia give the lie to the previous government's claim that saying "sorry" didn't mean anything. It did to those people. Now there is work to get on with. Life of a Scrapbooker's Husband.

Scrapbook Widower: Equilibrium
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/10/equilibrium.html
Saturday, 11 October 2008. Morti made a a comment on my last post a few hours back that made me feel guilty - I haven't posted here for nearly six months. I could blame it on being busy, but then even at my busiest I have managed a post each day over at Cafe Grendel. I think what has really happened is that rather than the wild ride that being married to a scrapbooker was a year ago, things have now settled into a balance. I have visions of him stepping through the television and looking around in horror:.

Scrapbook Widower: The walls
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/03/walls.html
Monday, 10 March 2008. It is spreading like a contagious disease. Off you go merrily to work in the morning and return home in the afternoon to find that the scrapbooking has leapt off the pages and on to the walls. I wondered if she'd run out of paper, but no, there on the shelf is the usual rainbow of cardstock - this was graffiti, pure and simple. Let me make myself clear. Not at all, never. Can I just state for the record that I am not acid-free and that I intend to commence lignin eating immediately.

TOTAL SCRAPPY NESS!: April 2006
http://scrappyness.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Scraps of life from a life of scrapbooking. Friday, April 28, 2006. It's always a problem planning a holiday when you run your own business. There's never really a good time but also you seem to spend the whole week before doing double the amount of work to allow for it! And on top of that, I decide to organise a Loyal Customer Event to finish the week off - talk about glutton for punishment. These Play Days are why I started my own craft-based business but believe me, they are few and far between. All i...

Scrapbook Widower: Predictions
http://scrapbook-widower.blogspot.com/2008/02/predictions.html
Saturday, 16 February 2008. I'm going into the clairvoyant business. After last weeks blogging effort I almost have to - I suggested that a scrapbooking novel might be an idea, and lo, there are several. I predicted that scrapbooking paper would make a good spacecraft, and the Japanese are rolling out (or is that unfolding? Their plans for origami space flight. Lurid 1960's prints will continue to annoy Mrs Grendel who has only boy children to scrapbook. Digital scrapbooking will not become dominant over...
