Saturday, February 12, 2011. I cannot belive that we are now up to 5 snow days in the last two weeks! And the last snow day was on Laci's 26th birthday! Laci always used to complain when we were little, because it NEVER snowed on her birthday, but we always got snow around/on my birthday. Well, turns out this year the tables have turned and she received the snow and I will not. Here are a few pictures from that eventful day. Calli peering out our window at the newly fallen snow. I woke up on Sunday morning with severe pain in my calves.so bad that I could hardly walk all day. The pain continued into Monday and I looked like a crippled person trying to hobble around at work. Andy, Tara and Austin. Sunday, October 17, 2010. Hot Air Balloon Festival. We went to the hot air balloon festival in Snowmass, CO up by Aspen. Austin even got to ride up about 30 feet in one of the balloons! He couldn't stop talking about it for days. He kept saying "I rode in the balloon high in the sky". Looking inside the balloon before it was completely filled with air. I mean he is very cute! He looks alot like Ryan. What an awesome experience to ride in a hot air balloon! Tubing St. Vrain.
