Life on the Circus. Living life in one of our dream locations. End-of-Year Fun and My Bookclub! This entry was posted on December 13, 2012, in Celebrations. The school term has ended and summer holidays have begun – if someone could just tell the weather to sort itself out! And it’s not just the kids who’ve been social, I’ve been a bit of a butterfly myself! Really, this is Perth in summer, not the tropics! Anyway, my bookclub has been going for about 7 years – kind of coinciding with when we came ...

Life on the Circus. Living life in one of our dream locations. 8216;Tis the Season. This entry was posted on November 28, 2012, in Celebrations. If you’d asked me yesterday how I was going with getting ready for Christmas, I’d have sighed and admitted I was well behind in doing anything. Actually, ‘nothing’ was more accurate, as in I had done absolutely nothing! Gosh I love it when that happens! I wish the elves would come and wrap them all like this for me! My little friend Scruffy (our resident magpie)...

Life on the Circus. Living life in one of our dream locations. A quick post is better than none? This entry was posted on November 8, 2012, in employment. Via Pinterest 2bp.blogspot.com. It’s been a busy week this week – so I thought I’d better check in quickly to let you know I am still alive and well, albeit busy! I help A LOT at my kids school, as I figure once I’m back in paid employment I won’t have the luxury of time, and the kids probably will be sick of seeing me! And that’s the other reaso...

Life on the Circus. Living life in one of our dream locations. This entry was posted on December 3, 2012, in Mixed bag. There’s never a dull moment here, well actually there are plenty, but this weekend there weren’t any! Scruffy waiting for some food. We started out by trying to lure him with meat, and we unsuccessfully tried to throw a blanket over him, but we soon realised Scruffy is smarter than that! The very sophisticated trap…. Sweet holding onto Scruffy’s crate in the car. We all felt very chuffe...

Life on the Carousel
Life on the Carousel. My parents entrusted me with twenty circular slide magazines, what the Kodak Company called "Carousels". They contained close to two-thousand family slides, frustratingly in no particular order, spanning nearly twenty years of my life. I put a carousel on the projector and pressed forward. This blog tells the stories I found there. Thursday, January 13, 2011. Slides 39,40,42,49 and 49. My family outside my Grandparent's house. The house was red brick that rubbed off on my hands.
