Life without a Thyroid. My life post thyroidectomy. I’m Bee. I have an underactive thyroid. I used to have Graves Disease. This blog is here to record all the comments I get about my scar, my thyroid, my height (I’m 6 feet tall)…. I hope that in some way this will help someone who has an underactive or an overactive thyroid. I’m also going to talk about the different hospital appointments I have for my thyroid or my thyroid eye disease. If anyone wants to talk, I’m always happy to listen.

I managed to get an appointment and duly went along one Friday morning to see my GP to discuss how they manage my thyroid. The reality is that they don’t.
