Today was the first day of school for my big boy, Adrian. My how time flies. I hope he has a really great day and makes new friends! Laying out in the April sunshine.this was a couple days after we came home. so tiny! At 2 months, Madeleine weighed 8 pounds, 6.5 ounces! Sweet girl loves the window near her changing table. Lots of beautiful sunshine compared to the NICU. At 3 months, she weighed about 10 pounds! Bows, bows, bows! She is starting to smile:). What I write about.

I couldn't believe it. I blinked and June was over. We participated in two weeks of VBS, starting taking piano lessons, visited the new children's museum in our area, went to the water park, the zoo, and much more. Here are some of our favorites. She wore cowboy boots and a hat each day, although the bandana never made it past the front door. She was NOT excited about the forced-fun square dancing show they put on at the end of Western Week. I have the evidence in the photo's below. Is this not the saddest Seniorita you've ever seen? Oh, being 3 is SO HARD! Notice she refuses to get in line, and just wants this miserable day to be over!

Tales and Tidbits of the Tellez Family. Sunday, October 30, 2011. I'm passing on the tradition of caramel apples this year. Our toppings included crushed pretzels, heath bits, mints chips, almonds, mixed nuts, and sprinkles. Needless to say, they were a hit. The Pioneer Woman gave a hint on her site shown here. Add salt to the caramel.YUM-O! No slow pokes here! You have to work quickly! Toppings are ready, and so is my little helper! Serious business, no slackers allowed. Waiting is the hardest part!
