Distinctions and Competition Sucesses. John Schmidt, LRPS. I have been interested in photography ever since I found an old Voigtlaender camera in the cellar and started taking black and white images which I then developed in a friend's makeshift darkroom. After a prolonged pause, mainly to do with my day job, I picked up a camera again some five years ago and quickly got into digital photography. I set up LightHouse FotoGrafix to showcase my work and to raise funds for charity in the process.
