Adventures of a medically complex child. Common abreviations/terms I use. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. A 3 day stay turned into 10. So what was supposed to be a short 3 day stay turned into 10 days. She was admitted for TOTAL gut rest meaning they were going do TPN. So we got there and OF COURSE they didn't have the TPN ready yet. So we waited and got comfortable in our room for about ten hours. Until the TPN was ready. She LOVES to play with foam tape to pass the time. And what kid doesn't LOVE stickers?

I have been wanting to do a post about all of the Fun Lily has been having outside of the HOSPITAL! Lily was accepted in to HopeKids this past summer. Hopekids is a non-profit organization for families of children with life threatening illnesses. Hopekids provides weekly activities to give affected families something to look forward to. We saw The Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Monday, September 24, 2012. The Stake we are in does a Princess Ball every year for girl 3-11. Lexi was so excited to go when we told her And that Daddy was going to be her prince for the night! It was at the church building and they did everything like a wedding was taking place there! They danced all night and had some cookie treats and got their picture taken together. She came home so tired but had to tell me all her favorite parts, which was all of it! She make this dress for Lexi in one week!
