Journal of Creating Handmade Comfort. Saturday, August 31, 2013. I think I might use a few old large scraps of batting and tshirt a to fill it up too. Iam going to do my calculations and see if I can't get two footstool out of the fabric. This isn't the first time I've made stools. Check these awesome ones my dad helped me build about 12 years ago, I love them. I have carted them around through college and across the country. Saturday, August 31, 2013. Links to this post. Journal of Creating Handmade Comfort. Saturday, November 30, 2013. Here is Oregon people talk a lot about it being so green. I on the other hand feel like Oregon is truly land of Blues. Especially, West of the Cascades. In the summer the sky is blue and vast. In the winter, it is the fog and rain that makes the mountains blue. I personally love blue and find myself wearing blue, or some shade of blue almost everyday. This gorgeous hat was out of my price range, but was such a lovely shade of turquoise.

Comfort Circle: The Real Washi Dress
http://odetofall.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-real-washi-dress.html
Journal of Creating Handmade Comfort. Monday, April 7, 2014. The Real Washi Dress. The real Washi Dress, not from muslin this time. Though I do love the muslin one. This beautiful dress has the feel of a super casual dress but looks like a million bucks! This one will work for a wedding, interview, or just everyday. I loved this fabric when I walked into Bolt. It just lended itself to a dress and to be a true any occasion dress. The vertical vines just pull the eye down the dress. I am now thinking this ...

Having concluded the latest charette in our bus shelter and shelter bus community design project. I present to you my bus shelter from start to finish. Given my site out side the weatherspoon art gallery I knew I immediately wanted it to relate and therefore I thought it should be sculptural, this led to a series of forms which I played around with. With my concept and ideas I began to build my model. Finally I prepared a contextual illustration of the bus shelter as it should appear in its site.

The Storehouse: a hipster haven. These stairs created a nice statement in the space they inhabited and gave good transition from the concrete metal and brick public spaces to the wood private space. In order to keep the occupants from falling their is a railing going around the perimeter of the loft. The design of this sticks with the contemporary feel I was trying to establish and is very industrial, not to mention recyclable thanks to its aluminium construction. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
