Thursday, April 15, 2010. 3 Days of Birthday Fun! How did this guy. Turn into this guy. I sure don't know, but here is how we celebrated. We started the day off at his one year check up. Both Darin and I were certain that although he has been in the 8th percentile for weight since he was born, he was definitely going to topple the charts, and come in somewhere around 70th or 80th percentile at his one year. Saturday, November 28, 2009. I wasn't sure what to name this post, since It wasn't quite Thanksgiving. Poor Darin didn't eat any Thanksgiving either.just stayed home with Kai and I. It was the sickest I ever remember being in my whole life, I kept telling Darin that I would miss him and Kai, but I really wanted to die. :). This is a picture of the dinner Darin made around 9pm on Thanksgiving. We found a package of "instant potatoes" and a gravy mix that he whipped up like a world class Sous Chef.

Tuesday, December 21, 2010. The next day, we put up our VERY first Christmas tree, and Kai was in HEAVEN! He loves the tree, and every single day that it has been up, when we walk in the door he runs to the tree and says: "Lights, Lights, Lights" indicating he would like us to plug it in.he is not allowed to touch the lights, but he sure loves hovering while Darin or I plug them in. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. The boys were very spoiled this Halloween season. They went to two ward parties and trick or treating around the neighborhood as well. Needless to say they ended up with way too much candy. They had a few trips to Lombardi Ranch for the pumpkin patch too. Annakin Josh, Indiana Ben, and Blue Evan. Annakin Josh - the most handsome Jedi I know. Fun carnival games at the ward party. Josh had a handicap playing the doughnut on the string game since he was missing his two front teeth.

Friday, December 16, 2011. Val and JR's family came out to California on their way from Hawaii moving to Maryland. It was great to get these cousins together like the good old days when we were both living back East. They had a blast playing games, jumping on the trampoline, watching movies, and having a sleepover. Evan and Sarah were best buds and had a great time hanging out. What a couple of cuties! He has loved this Elmo for quite a while now when we've seen it at the store, and we couldn't pass it up for his birthday when it was 1/2 off.
