I had debated posting about this in my own mind for a few days, but I decided that because life is about both the ups and downs, and I decided that sharing a down time in our life is important too. November 25, 2008. We went to the doctor on Monday for the first of our "formal" ultrasounds. They examined our babies for almost two hours, which means we got the privilege of watching them for almost two hours! It was lots of fun. We learned so much about them, I have been so excited to share it with you. First, we got an additional surprise of finding out that we will be having IDENTICAL twins! January 22, 2009. You have all been waiting for this one. Time for the pregnancy update! I am currently 20.5 weeks pregnant. This means I'm halfway! I made it to the top of mountain and the rest is downhill (in a good way! Baby Update (the good stuff! So the most important part of the ultrasound is that the babies are doing fantastic! They are perfectly healthy as far as we can tell and they are growing like crazy. They weigh just under a pound and already swallow, yawn and interact with each other.

August 25, 2010. We have returned from a whirlwind Italian vacation. It was more fun than anyone should be legally be able to experience. We survived 8 tasty days of gelato, the Euro, a nice steady stream of wine and European showers. I'm a DBA (ie: computer geek) by trade, still barely holding onto a job. I race motorcycle with the AFM, and am also on a whaleboat rowing.
