Lisa m the blog. Happy non-religious holiday blog. Why lisa m the blog? June 26, 2007, 4:36 am. Filed under: Backroads training. To the tune of Cecilia. Oh Backroads, the job of my dreams. I know what it means to be free. Oh Backroads, one shower a week. We smell like bad feet, it’s disgusting. Oh Backroads, puts a smile on my face. I left the rat race, oh yeah-yeah. Making snacks in the afternoon. Washing dishes up in my bathroom. I get up to stuff my face. A meal in the morning, seven more on the way.

To stop through the US for a few short weeks and continue on my way to Italia. I will be learning Italian with Backroads and leading trips this fall in Tuscany! As for pics, I’ve given up for the time being but will put them all online when I get back to the US. On my NGO…. Marriage is a beautiful thing. I attended m...

Susie's Travel Tales: April 2007
http://susiestraveltales.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 12, 2007. I got to see my friend Nicola from England who was part of the fantastic group of people Nate and I met here on our first trip and have stayed in touch with since then. Nicola loves San Marcos so much she stuck around and now calls it home. We absorbed a couple other members into our group this week, Nate's friend Tom and my old friend Neil who came to check out what all the fuss was about the Pyramids as well. Great having them along. Doing my thing with Carlos. I would like to...

http://susiestraveltales.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2008. An amusing memory from my college friend Katherine, a seasoned triathlete. I remember running with you once our senior year. It was a very short run, if I remember correctly, and there may have been some swearing involved.”. I placed 1st in my age group! A-hemnevermind that I was the only one IN my age group (which I will remain vague about, except that it now proudly boasts a “3” as of earlier this month), that's neither here nor there. Some pre-race pix of me and Ana-Maria.

Susie's Travel Tales: Digging Ditches
http://susiestraveltales.blogspot.com/2007/05/honduras.html
Thursday, May 17, 2007. With some of the volunteer English teachers. Our days were spent helping out in classrooms and digging a 10-foot sewage hole for the new bathrooms for the kindergartners. Glamorous, right? Local ranch hands would mossy on by and were quite amused at the site of gringos in their country with shovels in hand performing hard labor under the blazing sun. The irony was not lost on them, either. Hitching a ride to the airport in Don Max's rad truck. Posted by Susie G. Lisa M the Blog.

Thursday, January 01, 2009. Oh Eight Was Great. Susiestraveltales has been silent since the end of May, but not for lack of travel tales. I’ve had some fine adventures this year while, in between, continuing to find my roots in Austin. I’m not feeling terribly verbose right now, so I’m just going to let the pictures do the talking for now! Happy New Year, hope it’s a great one ahead for us all! Posted by Susie G. Susie, loved your slideshow! You have had an incredible year! LEAPNow 2006 Photo Album.

Monday, May 19, 2008. T minus one week. T minus one week until the big triathlon event this Sunday! And another member of our team who was declared cancer-free a couple years ago is about to tackle an Ironman.how's that for some inspiration? And in spite of my love-affair with Austin, I leave in a couple of weeks for another summer of trip leading with Backroads in Yellowstone and the Tetons. Excited to be back in Jackson Hole, see some friends and not be a rookie at the job this year! Posted by Susie G.

Sunday, August 26, 2007. Another Summer Come and Gone. My 9-year-old niece Callie recently reprimanded me for my blog being way out of date, so I’d better get to it. Humble and sophisticated self-named TBTGE (The Best Training Group Ever). Backroads does high-end one week trips all over the world, and the Tetons and Yellowstone in Wyoming were to become my home for the summer. Welcome to my office:. Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Some of my insights into the writing world. July 22, 2015. July 22, 2015. As an author I have now been e-published by a small indy publisher, in paper as part of the Brave New Girls anthology put together by authors Mary Fan and Tina Closser. I chose to take the simplest route with self publishing, releasing my story as an ebook on Amazon and enrolling it the Kindle Unlimited program. Kindle made the process simple, guiding me through the upload process with a step by step system. The Importance of Groups.
