Monday, May 18, 2015. My dad moved to Amarillo with James and I in 2008 and we moved him into the VA Nursing home. He loved it there and so did we! It really has been an uneventful seven years considering he was living in nursing home. However Easter Sunday 2014 everything changed. That night they sent him to the ER in respiratory distress and he had to be put on a ventilator. He spent over 30 days in ICU and several weeks in rehab before returning to the VA. That was Tuesday. James was needed to drive the church bus to pick up our mission team that was coming in from South Africa so we decided to have a little fun while we were there. Saturday, January 10, 2015. We have a teenager in the house! We officially have a teenager in the house! James and I have spent all week reflecting on the last 13 years and how much God has carried us through. We have been so blessed by this amazing and beautiful young lady. Wednesday she woke up and opened her gift from her Nonna. James and I had lunch with her that day at school. That night she opened her "big" gift, a surprise girls weekend trip to Dallas Comic Con in a few weeks. Our new game, Clue.

Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Last weekend, the kids and I had the opportunity to travel to Albuquerque to see James while he is at a school for work. We were so glad to see him and we has a blast! It was a much needed break! James had dinner with the legend, Pat Miletich earlier in the week along with the producers of HDNet! Pat was so kind to give us tickets to the RFA fights on Friday night at a VIP ringside table, it was an incredible night! It was a late night for some of us. Monday, September 8, 2014.

Monday, September 24, 2012. The BEST Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe EVER. I received a recipe when Andy and I got married 7 years ago from a sweet lady in Andy's church. I had completely forgotten about the recipe and found it about 6 months ago with a bunch of our wedding memories. One day I decided to make them and they were AMAZING! Here is the BEST COOKIE RECIPE EVER:. 2 cups Shortening (I use butter flavored). 2 cups Brown Sugar. Blend above ingredients in a stand mixer. Add: 4 Eggs and mix well.

Thursday, February 21, 2013. PJ days are our FAVORITE days! On Mondays and Fridays Hayden and Henley are home with me all day and if we have no plans for the day we will hang out in pajamas all day! We will even pick up Landon from school in the school pick up line in our PJ's. Hayden recently asked for a pillow pet and we let him purchase one with his Christmas money.
