I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read." Groucho Marx. It was a dark and stormy night. You go to your shelf and choose:. Wednesday, October 24, 2007. I had some difficulty with this one because I work on 2 computers and somehow thought that the "links" added to one would naturally come up in the other when I logged in. I always seem to find a way to make computer activities more complicated than they really are! Tuesday, October 16, 2007.

Alice's 23: Pod People
http://alices23.blogspot.com/2007/11/pod-people.html
23 Things. Make that, 23 *more* things. Thursday, November 8, 2007. I noted a lot of talk shows, lots of politics, lots of tech talk, and piles of interviews with authors, and so on. As I say, interesting if you are likely to listen. I have made podcasts at Odeo and imbedded a player in my blog before, which is fairly easy, but it would probably behoove me to get a better microphone before I start any bigger projects, because it was very faint. Linda's Corner: I hate computers
http://lindascorners.blogspot.com/2007/09/i-hate-computers.html
New to the world of blogging, hope you enjoy! Saturday, September 22, 2007. Ever since I was 15 years old all everyone ever talked about was computers, I even remember the old punch cards that we used in high school. Of course back then the computer was new and everyone had to know how it worked, or so they thought. So lets continue on this new journey, and I might even impress myself with some kind of knowledge and not feel like a complete fool. Nice looking blog already. First poll I've seen. Things ar...

23 Things. Make that, 23 *more* things. Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Getting Silly Wit' It. Okay, so this week has all been fun and games. The Big Huge Labs. I made a movie poster:. Can I use that last one in the library? The generators are great, too. So many things I didn't know, to start with. Like my blues name? And I generated some sudoku, since I am, as so many sadly are, completely obssessed. Sigh. I have also enjoyed the South Park Alice:. And a few other avatar creators and such. Librarian's 23 ...
Alice's 23: Fun with Flickr
http://alices23.blogspot.com/2007/09/fun-with-flickr.html
23 Things. Make that, 23 *more* things. Thursday, September 27, 2007. Okay, any obscure topic in Flickr. I checked out a few hobbies and found groups on stained glass and cross-stitch. The group that made me laugh was the Subversive Cross-Stitch group. Here's a library science T-shirt in the waiting:. And a sample of the cleaner "subversive" mottos going:. I really liked one that said, "Girl. Don't Make Me Cut You! The one that I thought was fun and surprising and I liked best was. Blogroll: Other TPL 23s.

23 Things. Make that, 23 *more* things. Thursday, October 25, 2007. What's Up, Docs? Fantastic. (Though I did find the limited font choices a little pitiful, given the computing power Google possesses.). Monday, October 22, 2007. I did find lots of fun stuff under a few headings and set up my own set of tags for them, but I can't see using them for anything beyond portable bookmarks, really. This is a bit of a lame entry, but really, this particular application isn't ringing my bell. Getting Silly Wit' It.
